Um deck que se concentra em acelerar rapidamente o mana e ganhar vida como uma forma de estabilizar contra estratégias agressivas se beneficiaria ao usar Luz Capturada. Embora forneça um valor decente com a habilidade de Cascata e ganho de vida, existem potencialmente cartas melhores para efeitos semelhantes no atual conjunto de cartas de Magic: the Gathering. No entanto, se a estratégia do deck depender fortemente de ganhar vida e gerar mana, Luz Capturada ainda poderia encontrar um lugar em certas construções de decks.

A spell’s converted mana cost is determined only by its mana cost. Ignore any alternative costs, additional costs, cost increases, or cost reductions. For example, Bloodbraid Elf’s converted mana cost is always 4.
