Um deck focado em estratégias de aggro ou tempo de white weenie se beneficiaria ao incluir o Celestial Crusader, pois ele fornece um impulso poderoso para outras criaturas brancas, além de ter flash e voar para maior versatilidade e evasão. Embora possa haver outras cartas com efeitos semelhantes como Honor of the Pure ou Benalish Marshal, a combinação única de habilidades do Celestial Crusader o torna um forte concorrente para inclusão no deck certo, especialmente em um metajogo onde split second pode desestabilizar os planos dos oponentes de forma eficaz.
