Dark Bargain could be beneficial in a control or midrange deck looking to filter through cards and gain card advantage, especially in a black-heavy deck. However, there are better options like Painful Truths, which allows you to draw three cards for the same cost without taking damage, making it a more efficient choice. Dark Bargain could see play in certain budget decks or as a filler card until better options are available.
