This card, Doomgape, would benefit a deck focused on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a Golgari or Jund sacrifice deck in Magic: the Gathering. While Doomgape can provide a steady stream of life gain and trample damage, there are potentially better options like Grave Titan or Wurmcoil Engine that offer more immediate impact or value. However, if the deck is built around sacrificing creatures and generating value from that, Doomgape could still see play as a unique and flavorful inclusion.
