Este card, Shunt, seria benéfico em um deck que se concentra em perturbar a estratégia do seu oponente redirecionando seus feitiços-chave. Poderia ser particularmente útil em um deck que visa proteger suas próprias criaturas ou peças de combo redirecionando feitiços de remoção ou contramágicas. Embora Shunt possa ser poderoso em situações específicas, existem melhores opções disponíveis, como Deflecting Swat ou Ricochet Trap, que oferecem mais versatilidade e potencial para jogadas decisivas.
