Avatar of Hope, Creature — avatar, designed by rk post first released in Oct, 1997 in the set Prerelease Events and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.98.
This Avatar of Hope card would be beneficial in a white control or lifegain deck that aims to stabilize the board and survive until the late game. Its ability to block any number of creatures can be a powerful defensive tool, especially when facing wide aggressive strategies. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering formats, there are likely better options available for a similar mana cost that provide more immediate impact or better synergy with existing strategies, such as Baneslayer Angel or Lyra Dawnbringer. Ultimately, the decision to include Avatar of Hope in a deck would depend on the specific metagame and deck composition.

The converted mana cost of this card is still 8, even if you only pay to cast it.
