Un mazo que se centra en estrategias de control o de rango medio en un mazo con mucho verde se beneficiaría al incluir Beast Within, ya que ofrece una eliminación versátil y al mismo tiempo proporciona una ficha de criatura que puede aplicar presión o bloquear las amenazas enemigas. Si bien puede haber mejores opciones de eliminación en otros colores, la flexibilidad y la capacidad de Beast Within para lidiar con cualquier tipo permanente lo convierten en una buena opción para mazos que buscan una respuesta general. Definitivamente debería ver juego en el mazo correcto.

If the permanent is still a legal target but is not destroyed (perhaps because it regenerated or has indestructible), its controller still gets the Beast token.

If the permanent is an illegal target when Beast Within tries to resolve, the spell won’t resolve and none of its effects will happen. The permanent’s controller won’t get a Beast token.
