A deck focused on disrupting your opponent's hand and board presence, such as a control or discard deck, would benefit from using Down for Repairs in Magic: The Gathering. While Down for Repairs offers a versatile effect by allowing you to both discard a card from your opponent's hand and destroy an artifact, there are potentially more powerful cards like Thoughtseize or Abrupt Decay that offer similar effects more efficiently. Whether Down for Repairs should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergy within the deck, as well as the current metagame.
