A deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's hand size and strategy would benefit from including Brain Weevil, as it provides a repeatable discard effect that can be activated multiple times. However, there are more efficient and versatile cards for hand disruption in Magic: the Gathering, such as Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek, which offer immediate and targeted discard without the need to sacrifice a creature. While Brain Weevil could see play in a casual or thematic deck, competitive decks would likely opt for more powerful options.
