This card, Chain to Memory, would be beneficial in a control or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a cheap way to weaken an opponent's creature while also allowing you to scry 2 to dig deeper into your deck. However, there are potentially better options like Vapor Snag, which not only returns a creature to its owner's hand but also deals 1 damage, making it more versatile. Chain to Memory could still see play in certain deck builds that prioritize card advantage and tempo manipulation.
