The Coral Merfolk card could be beneficial in a Merfolk tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing a cheap creature with the potential for synergy with other Merfolk cards. However, there are likely better options available, such as Silvergill Adept or Lord of Atlantis, which offer more powerful effects for a similar cost. Coral Merfolk may not see as much play in competitive decks due to its relatively limited impact compared to other options available.
