About Force Away
Force Away, Instant, designed by Mark Winters first released in Sep, 2014 in the set Khans of Tarkir. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.41.
This card, Force Away, would be beneficial in a tempo-based deck that aims to control the board by bouncing key threats back to the opponent's hand while also providing card advantage through its Ferocious ability. However, there are potentially better options like Vapor Snag or Unsummon that offer similar effects at a lower cost without the drawback of discarding a card. While Force Away could see situational play in specific decks, it may not be a top choice in most competitive Magic: the Gathering strategies.
Rules
09/20/14
Some ferocious abilities that appear on instants and sorceries use the word “instead.” These spells have an upgraded effect if you control a creature with power 4 or greater as they resolve. For these, you only get the upgraded effect, not both effects.
