About Herald of War

Herald of War would be a strong addition to a deck focused on Angel and Human tribal synergies, as it not only boosts itself with +1/+1 counters but also reduces the cost of casting other Angel and Human spells. This card would particularly shine in a midrange or aggro deck aiming to quickly build a board presence with these creature types. While there may be more powerful options available for similar strategies, such as Angel of Invention or Thalia's Lieutenant, Herald of War could still see play in the right deck due to its unique cost reduction ability and potential for explosive turns.
