About Infantry Veteran

Infantry Veteran, Creature — human soldier, designed by Christopher Rush first released in Feb, 1997 in the set Visions and was printed exactly in 12 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.09.

This Infantry Veteran card would be beneficial in a white aggro deck that focuses on attacking early and often to overwhelm the opponent. While it provides a small boost to attacking creatures, there are indeed better options available such as Veteran Armorsmith or Veteran Swordsmith which offer more impactful abilities. However, if the deck is looking for a cheap and efficient way to buff attacking creatures, Infantry Veteran could still see play as a budget-friendly option.

Rules

08/15/10

An “attacking creature” is one that has been declared as an attacker this combat, or one that was put onto the battlefield attacking this combat. Unless that creature leaves combat, it continues to be an attacking creature through the end of combat step, even if the player it was attacking has left the game, or the planeswalker it was attacking has left combat.
