About Leviathan

Leviathan, Creature — leviathan, designed by Mark Tedin first released in Aug, 1994 in the set The Dark and was printed exactly in 7 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 1.89.

A control deck with a heavy blue mana base that can reliably generate enough mana and afford to sacrifice Islands could benefit from using Leviathan in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are likely better options available in terms of powerful finishers or win conditions that don't come with the drawback of needing to sacrifice lands, such as other high-cost creatures with immediate impact on the board or game-ending abilities. Overall, Leviathan may not see much play in competitive decks due to its high cost and restrictive requirements.
