This Merfolk Falconer card would fit well in a blue-based control deck that focuses on casting a lot of kicked spells, allowing for consistent scrying to set up future draws. While it offers a unique ability, there may be better options for similar effects in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks, such as cards like Mulldrifter or Snapcaster Mage. However, for a more casual or themed deck centered around kicked spells, Merfolk Falconer could definitely see play and add a fun element to gameplay.
