About Scorch the Fields

Scorch the Fields, Sorcery, designed by Jaime Jones first released in Feb, 2012 in the set Dark Ascension. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.50.

A deck focused on land destruction or disrupting an opponent's mana base would benefit from using Scorch the Fields, as it can cripple their resources while also dealing damage to any Human creatures they control. However, there are more efficient land destruction cards available in Magic: the Gathering, such as Stone Rain or Molten Rain, which can destroy a land without the additional cost of damaging creatures. While Scorch the Fields could have situational use in certain strategies, it may not be the optimal choice for competitive play compared to other options.
