Coffin Purge, Instant, designed by Pete Venters first released in Oct, 2001 in the set Odyssey and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.71.
Coffin Purge is particularly beneficial in graveyard-centric decks, such as those that focus on controlling the battlefield by exiling key threats or disrupting opponents' graveyard strategies, like Dredge or Reanimator decks. While it serves a specific purpose, cards like Tormod's Crypt or Nihil Spellbomb can offer similar graveyard hate with additional utility, such as drawing cards or being more versatile in different matchups. Overall, Coffin Purge can see play in niche scenarios, especially in formats where graveyard interactions are prevalent, but it may not be the optimal choice compared to more flexible options.

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The converted mana cost of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.

You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.

“Flashback [cost]” means “You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost” and “If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack.”
