This card, Consecrate Land, would benefit a deck that focuses on protecting key lands from destruction or being targeted by enchantments. It could be useful in a control deck that relies on specific lands for its strategy. However, there are better options available such as cards like Sterling Grove or Privileged Position, which offer more protection and versatility. Overall, Consecrate Land may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited protection abilities compared to other options.

A permanent with indestructible can’t be destroyed, but it can still be sacrificed, exiled, put into a graveyard, and so on.

The land can be targeted by land-destroying spells and the spell will resolve, but the land will simply not be destroyed.
