Friendly Teddy would fit well in a deck that focuses on card draw and value generation, such as a control or midrange deck that seeks to prolong the game and gain incremental advantages. While it provides a unique effect upon dying, there are arguably better options for card draw, such as Guardian Project or The Great Henge, which can provide consistent card advantage without the drawback of allowing opponents to draw as well. However, if your strategy includes sacrificing creatures for value or if you have synergies with dying creatures, Friendly Teddy could still see play, especially in a fun or casual setting.
