Public Execution fits a midrange or large-unit “stompy” deck that regularly has high-Might creatures in play, since it turns your biggest unit into efficient conditional removal; it is especially appealing in decks that can reliably produce rainbow runes and expect games to go long enough for the Flow cast to matter. Its main weakness is that it is dead or unreliable when you are behind on board, against equally large enemy units, or when your opponent can respond by removing/shrinking your chosen friendly unit. A cheap unconditional removal spell, or a removal spell that does not require you to already control a larger unit, is generally better if available in your colors, while this is better than expensive unconditional removal in a creature-heavy deck that consistently wins the Might battle. It should see play as a situational two-to-three-copy removal option in big-unit, board-centric decks, but not as a staple in control, combo, low-Might aggro, or decks that cannot realistically
