Yixlid Jailer, Creature — zombie wizard, designed by Alex Horley-Orlandelli first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.40.

This card, Yixlid Jailer, would be beneficial in a deck that aims to disrupt graveyard-based strategies, such as decks that rely on reanimation or flashback mechanics. While it can be effective in certain matchups, there are potentially better options like Leyline of the Void or Rest in Peace that offer more comprehensive graveyard hate. Yixlid Jailer could see play in specific metagames where its ability is particularly impactful, but overall it may not be a staple inclusion in most decks due to its limited scope of abilities.

If a card with changeling is in a graveyard, it still has all creature types.

If a spell or ability allows you to cast a spell from your graveyard, the first step in doing so is to move it to the stack. That spell’s additional and alternative costs may be applied. However, if a card’s own ability allows you to cast it from your graveyard (such as a flashback ability) Yixlid Jailer stops that ability.

If an ability triggers when the object that has it is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, that ability triggers from the battlefield and isn’t affected by Yixlid Jailer.

Some replacement effects cause a card to be put somewhere else instead of being put into a graveyard (such as that of Darksteel Colossus). These effects mean the card is never actually put into the graveyard, so Yixlid Jailer doesn’t affect that ability.

If an ability triggers when the object that has it is put into a graveyard from anywhere other than the battlefield, that ability triggers from the graveyard, (such as Krosan Tusker, Narcomoeba, or Quagnoth, for example). Yixlid Jailer will prevent those abilities from triggering at all.

If Mistform Ultimus is in the graveyard, the Ultimus will lose its ability that says “Mistform Ultimus is every creature type,” but it will still *be* all creature types. The way continuous effects work, Mistform Ultimus’s type-changing ability is applied before Yixlid Jailer’s ability removes it.
