Absorb Vis, Sorcery, designed by Brandon Kitkouski first released in Feb, 2009 in the set Conflux and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of £ 0.02.
Absorb Vis could be beneficial in a mono-black control deck that focuses on draining the opponent's life while gaining life to sustain itself. However, there are better options like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, which has a similar effect but with more impact, making it a more popular choice in competitive decks. Absorb Vis could see play in casual or budget decks, but in a more competitive setting, other cards may be more efficient.

Basic landcycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with basic landcycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.

Unlike the normal cycling ability, basic landcycling doesn’t allow you to draw a card. Instead, it lets you search your library for a basic land card. You don’t choose the type of basic land card you’ll find until you’re performing the search. After you choose a basic land card in your library, you reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.
