A deck that focuses on sacrificing its own creatures for value, such as a Black sacrifice or Aristocrats deck, would benefit from including Grave Pact. While Grave Pact is a strong card in these strategies, some may argue that its upgraded version, Dictate of Erebos, is a better alternative due to its flash ability, allowing for surprise triggers. However, Grave Pact can still be a valuable inclusion in decks looking to control the board and generate advantage through sacrificing creatures.
