About Grindclock

Grindclock, Artifact, designed by Nils Hamm first released in Oct, 2010 in the set Scars of Mirrodin and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 1.79.

This card, Grindclock, would benefit a mill deck in Magic: the Gathering, where the goal is to make the opponent's library run out of cards. While Grindclock can be effective in slowly milling the opponent, there are better cards like Mind Grind or Sphinx's Tutelage that can mill more efficiently or have additional benefits. Grindclock could see play in a mill deck as a supplemental card, but it may not be a top choice due to its slower milling rate compared to other options.

Rules

07/18/14

If Grindclock isn’t on the battlefield when its last ability resolves, use the number of charge counters on it when it left the battlefield to determine how many cards to put into the graveyard.
