About Hour of Reckoning

Hour of Reckoning, Sorcery, designed by Randy Gallegos first released in Oct, 2005 in the set Ravnica: City of Guilds and was printed exactly in 16 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.26.

A deck that focuses on token creatures would benefit the most from Hour of Reckoning, as it can easily generate multiple creatures to help convoke the spell and protect its own tokens while wiping out opponents' nontoken creatures. However, a similar card like Cleansing Nova may provide more flexibility by allowing the choice between destroying all creatures or all artifacts and enchantments, making it a more versatile option depending on the deck's needs. Hour of Reckoning could still see play in token-heavy strategies looking for a mass removal effect, but its situational nature and high mana cost may limit its inclusion in competitive decks.
