About Form of the Dragon

Form of the Dragon, Enchantment, designed by Carl Critchlow first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.09.

A deck that focuses on controlling the board and stalling the game would benefit from using Form of the Dragon, as it provides a powerful defensive tool against ground-based creature strategies while also offering a consistent source of damage. However, in competitive Magic: The Gathering play, Form of the Dragon is generally considered too slow and vulnerable to removal, making it less optimal compared to other win conditions or defensive options available in the format. Cards like Moat or Ensnaring Bridge might offer better protection against creature attacks, while win conditions like Approach of the Second Sun or Torment of Hailfire could provide more reliable ways to close out the game.
