This Tombstalker card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on filling up the graveyard quickly, such as a self-mill or graveyard recursion deck. Its Delve ability allows you to cast it for a reduced cost by exiling cards from your graveyard, making it a strong late-game threat. However, there are potentially better options like Gurmag Angler, which has a similar Delve ability but comes with a larger body for the same cost, making it a more efficient choice in most cases. Delve doesn’t change a spell’s mana cost or converted mana cost. For example, Treasure Cruise’s converted mana cost is 8 even if you exiled three cards to cast it.
