This card would be beneficial in a Black-based graveyard recursion deck, where sacrificing creatures is a common theme. While Blood for Bones provides value by returning two creatures from the graveyard, it may be outshined by more efficient options like Reanimate or Animate Dead which bring back creatures for a lower cost. However, Blood for Bones can still find a place in certain graveyard-focused strategies that value the flexibility it offers in returning both a creature to the battlefield and another to the hand.
