A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and playing big creatures would benefit from including Chorus of the Conclave, as it allows for additional +1/+1 counters to be placed on creatures for a cost. However, there are better cards that offer similar effects, such as Doubling Season or Hardened Scales, which provide more efficient ways to boost creature power. Chorus of the Conclave may not see as much play in competitive decks due to its high mana cost and the availability of more powerful alternatives.

When calculating a spell’s total cost, include any alternative costs, additional costs, or anything else that increases or reduces the cost to cast the spell. Convoke applies after the total cost is calculated. Convoke doesn’t change a spell’s mana cost or converted mana cost.

Chorus of the Conclave’s ability combines well with the convoke mechanic, effectively letting you tap creatures to put +1/+1 counters on the creature with convoke that you’re casting, if you choose to do so.
