This Curious Killbot card could be beneficial in an artifact-based deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value or triggering effects upon sacrificing. If the deck utilizes cards that reward you for sacrificing creatures or for having artifacts on the battlefield, then the Killbot could fit right in. However, there are indeed better cards than Curious Killbot for more competitive play, such as Wurmcoil Engine, Myr Battlesphere, or Steel Overseer, which provide more impactful effects or higher stats for their cost. While the Killbot may not see much play in top-tier decks, it could still be a fun inclusion in more casual or thematic artifact decks.
