However, there are arguably better options like Pithing Needle or Sorcerous Spyglass, which can shut down activated abilities of artifacts without the upkeep cost, or Stony Silence, which can prevent artifacts from being activated altogether. While Disruption Aura can see play in niche scenarios, its effectiveness is often overshadowed by these more versatile options, making it less favorable in competitive environments.
