Doc Ock, Evil Inventor could be a great addition to a blue-black artifact control or midrange deck in Magic: the Gathering, leveraging its ability to turn noncreature artifacts into powerful 8/8 Robot Villain creature threats. While it has potential to be strong in the right deck, there are arguably better cards in the format for the same mana cost, such as Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge or Karn, the Great Creator, which offer more versatile and impactful effects that can impact the game immediately. Whether or not Doc Ock should see play ultimately depends on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck it is placed in.
