This card, Domestication, would be beneficial in a control deck that aims to take control of powerful creatures from the opponent. However, there are better alternatives such as Control Magic or Treachery which offer similar effects without the drawback of sacrificing the enchantment if the creature's power is too high. Domestication could see play in budget decks or in specific metagames where its conditions are easily met, but in general, more versatile and powerful options would be preferred in competitive play.

Domestication’s triggered ability has an “intervening ‘if’ clause.” That means (1) the ability triggers only if the enchanted creature’s power is 4 or greater as your end step begins, and (2) the ability does nothing if the enchanted creature’s power is 3 or less by the time it resolves.
