Exocomp is a very modest 2/2 flying artifact for three mana, so it mainly benefits a Limited deck that needs an evasive creature, or a casual artifact-synergy deck that specifically rewards artifact creatures, Constructs, flying attackers, or having a cheap body to sacrifice or equip. It is generally outclassed in Constructed formats: `Etherium Sculptor`, `Sai, Master Thopterist`, `Thought Monitor`, `Emry, Lurker of the Loch`, and efficient threats such as `Ornithopter of Paradise` (for mana) or `Stonecoil Serpent` (as a scalable artifact body) provide substantially more value depending on the deck; even a basic three-mana flier with an additional ability is usually preferable. Exocomp should not see competitive play, but it is acceptable as a filler card in Limited or as a thematic inclusion in a low-power casual artifact or Construct deck.
