**Interjection** is best suited for aggressive white decks—especially go-wide strategies like White Weenie, Humans, Soldiers, or other creature-based aggro builds—where cheap combat tricks can help win early combat, push extra damage, or save a creature from dying in a trade. The +2/+2 and first strike can swing combat math significantly, particularly in creature mirrors. However, it is generally outclassed by more efficient or flexible options such as **Gods Willing** (protection and scry), **Brave the Elements** (team-wide protection in mono-white), **Valorous Stance** (protection or removal), or even **Sheltering Light** (indestructible), depending on the format; these cards provide either stronger protection or broader utility. While Interjection is playable in limited formats or very budget builds, it would rarely see play in competitive constructed formats where stronger combat tricks or protection spells are available.
