Quarrel fits a green creature-focused deck that consistently has large bodies, especially limited decks or casual Commander builds built around fight effects, deathtouch, or power-matters strategies, since it lets your creature act as removal without risking damage back; however, it is generally outclassed by one-mana options such as `Tail Swipe` (which can grant a +1/+1 counter), `Prizefight` (which creates a Treasure), and `Bushwhack`/`Rabid Bite`-style effects depending on format, while `Ram Through` is often stronger because excess damage can hit the opposing player if your creature has trample. Quarrel is reasonable in Limited when you need cheap interaction and expect to have larger creatures than the opponent, but it is unlikely to see Constructed play unless a specific format lacks those more efficient alternatives.
