Paliano, the High City would benefit a multicolor deck with a diverse color identity, as it provides flexibility in mana production based on the colors chosen during drafting. However, in a highly competitive setting, other lands like City of Brass or Mana Confluence might be more efficient due to their ability to produce any color of mana without restrictions. While Paliano, the High City has its niche uses, it may not see widespread play in optimized decks.
