This card You're Toast! would benefit a white control deck looking to exile problematic nonland permanents while also gaining incidental life gain. It could be strong against decks with big threats that need to be removed immediately, as well as provide a small life gain advantage. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering, it may not see play due to the mana cost and the relatively slow impact compared to other removal spells like Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares.
