This card, Sands of Delirium, would be beneficial in a mill deck strategy in Magic: the Gathering, where the goal is to force the opponent to draw cards from their library until they run out and lose the game by being unable to draw a card. While Sands of Delirium can be useful in such a deck, there are more efficient mill cards available like Mind Funeral or Glimpse the Unthinkable, which can mill a larger number of cards for a similar cost. Sands of Delirium could still see play in a mill deck as a budget option or for additional mill effects, but more powerful options may be preferred for competitive play.
