About Set Adrift

Set Adrift, Sorcery, designed by Karl Kopinski first released in May, 2020 in the set Khans of Tarkir and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.10.

This card, Set Adrift, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on disrupting your opponent's board state by temporarily removing key threats. While Set Adrift can be useful in certain situations, there are more efficient options like Cyclonic Rift or Aetherize that provide better value for a similar effect. Set Adrift could see play in specific metagames where graveyard interaction is important, but overall it may not be a top choice for competitive decks.

Because delve isn’t an alternative cost, it can be used in conjunction with alternative costs, such as flashback. It can also be used to pay for additional costs that include generic mana.

Delve doesn’t change a spell’s mana cost or converted mana cost. For example, Treasure Cruise’s converted mana cost is 8 even if you exiled three cards to cast it.

The rules for delve have changed slightly since it was last in an expansion. Previously, delve reduced the cost to cast a spell. Under the current rules, you exile cards from your graveyard at the same time you pay the spell’s cost. Exiling a card this way is simply another way to pay that cost.
