Control decks that stall early with counterspells and removal would appreciate the option to draw four cards at instant-speed power level (though this is a sorcery) or clear away small-to-medium creatures and planeswalkers in go-wide or midrange metas. However, five mana for either effect is generally inefficient compared to existing options: **Draw four cards** is weaker than *Memory Deluge*, *Dig Through Time*, or even *Fact or Fiction* in many formats, and **4 damage to each creature and planeswalker** is often worse than *Storm's Wrath*, *Burn Down the House*, or *Depopulate* depending on colors.
