While Surgespanner is a decent option, a more popular and versatile alternative would be Harbinger of the Tides, which can also bounce creatures and has a lower mana cost. However, depending on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck, Surgespanner could still see play as a niche card for certain metas or playstyles.
