Teferi's Time Twist would be beneficial in a deck focused on creatures with powerful enter-the-battlefield effects or abilities that trigger upon entering the battlefield, as it allows for repeated use of those effects. However, a better alternative could be Ghostly Flicker, which not only targets two permanents but also has the potential for infinite combos with certain creatures. While Teferi's Time Twist has its niche uses, Ghostly Flicker is generally considered a stronger card and sees more play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.

Any counters on the exiled permanent will cease to exist. Once the exiled permanent returns, it’s considered a new object with no relation to the object that it was.
