Decks that focus on stalling the game until they can play powerful spells would benefit from the ability to create a 4/4 creature while dealing damage to any target, making it a versatile option. However, there are arguably better cards for similar roles, such as Blasphemous Act for board control or Sorin, Solemn Visitor for creature generation and lifegain. While Windmill Slam has its merits, it may not see consistent play due to the availability of more efficient alternatives.
