Glorious Decay is a flexible, sideboard-style utility spell best suited for green midrange, ramp, or toolbox decks that want modal interaction without dedicating multiple slots to narrow answers—Commander (especially mono‑green or Gruul), Pioneer/Modern midrange, or even Standard (depending on the artifact/flying/graveyard metagame) would appreciate its versatility. However, while the flexibility is nice, each mode is slightly inefficient compared to specialized options: **Naturalize**, **Return to Nature**, or **Force of Vigor** are stronger artifact answers; **Plummet** or **Tail Swipe**–style fight spells are often more efficient creature interaction; and **Return to Nature** or **Scavenging Ooze** provide repeatable or broader graveyard hate (with Return to Nature notably overlapping two of these modes at the same cost). The draw clause on the graveyard mode is a meaningful upside, giving it maindeck consideration in slower formats, but overall it’s likely better as a flexible side
