Hungry Graffalon (3G, Reach, Increment) would fit best in a mono-green or green-based midrange/ramp deck that regularly casts increasingly expensive spells—such as Green Devotion, Ramp, or even a +1/+1 counters shell—because its Increment ability rewards you for spending large chunks of mana, letting it scale naturally as you curve into 5–7 mana threats; however, at four mana it competes with extremely efficient and format-defining options like Questing Beast, Old-Growth Troll, Thrun, Breaker of Silence, or even Oracle of Mul Daya and various planeswalkers, which provide immediate board impact or value without requiring additional mana investment to grow. While Reach is useful against flyers, a 4-mana creature that needs follow-up spells to become threatening is generally slower and less reliable than creatures that enter large or generate immediate advantage, so unless the Increment mechanic scales very aggressively or fits into a dedicated +1/+1 counter synergy deck (e.g., Hardened S
