This card, Pithing Spyglass Playtest, would be beneficial in a deck that aims to disrupt opponents who heavily rely on a specific keyword ability or ability word to win. Decks that focus on a particular mechanic or strategy that can be shut down by removing that keyword ability would find this card useful. However, there are already existing Magic: the Gathering cards like Pithing Needle that offer a similar effect more efficiently, making them better options for competitive play. Therefore, Pithing Spyglass Playtest may not see much play in highly competitive decks, but could still be a fun and interesting addition to casual or themed decks.
