Raphael, Tough Turtle would fit best in a go-wide aggressive deck, especially in red-based token or swarm strategies that consistently play multiple creatures per turn, such as Boros or Mono-Red tokens, where his Alliance ability turns every creature entering the battlefield into incremental direct damage to the opponent. He synergizes well with cheap creatures, token generators, and cards that produce multiple bodies at once, helping close games without relying solely on combat. However, there are generally stronger and more efficient options for this effect: **Impact Tremors** is cheaper and harder to remove, **Witty Roastmaster** triggers the same way but hits any opponent in multiplayer with a larger body, and **Purphoros, God of the Forge** is significantly more powerful, dealing 2 damage per creature and being difficult to remove.
