In an interview published this afternoon (21) by Bloomberg, Hasbro CEO Chris Cocs, shared some of the company's plans for the digital games market, including the creation of a video game version of Commander.
The interview mentions that Hasbro has already invested US$1 billion in digital games and intends to invest between 100 and 150 million per year to enter the games market, which involve a new action-adventure game, Exodus, produced by BioWare.
Chris also mentions that despite being popular, Magic Arena does not harness of two great potentials of the TCG: Commander and Collectability, and the company is currently testing a video game version of Commander separate from Arena, which would allow more than two players to compete, in addition to looking for ways to make digital versions of cards more collectible, similar to Marvel Snap.

In the interview, Ken Troop, global game lead for Magic: The Gathering also shares Hasbro's vision on the collaborations the game has made with the Universes Beyond series:
